Howdy! 😀 The long Easter weekend is upon us… Are you feeling clueless on what do?
Whether you’re planning to stay indoors or if you’re craving adventure, today’s blog post has something for you! 😀 Let’s jump right in, shall we?
Fun Ideas For Your Easter Weekend!
I love engaging with you on my Social Media pages, so I did a small poll on my Insta-Stories to get a feel of your preferences for Easter…
I hope you’ll find something that resonates with you, down below! 🙂
-
Bake Your Worries Away…
Staying indoors doesn’t have to be a bore… Have you ever tried baking a cake with a jiko? Growing up some of our best Saturdays were spent trying to bake over a jiko… which worked out- sometimes! 😀
Point is- don’t let an absent oven stop you! 😉 😀
Family time could be spent baking with your kids, or try a bake-off competition to crown the Baker King/Queen amongst your friends. Either way, it’s fun + you’ll have a cake to feast on after. Win-win! 😉

Ready, Set, Go! Issa Movie Marathon!
A movie marathon is always a good idea, no? 😀
Invite your friends over and request them to bring at least 3 movies they’d enjoy, if you don’t have Netflix. Make lots of popcorn for everyone & you are set! 😀
Tip> For movie ideas, check out ‘Top 100 Movies of All Time’ Here.
-
Horse Riding!
Whether you’ve always wondered what horse-riding feels like or if you are a pro on horseback- just do it! It’s a fantastic way to experience the great outdoors! 😀

Spice things up & bring Spain right to your doorstep with Mirna’s homemade Taco recipe. They are simple to make & easy on the pocket too.

Although I haven’t been to PEC Nature Camp, they have a fun-packed weekend for adventure lovers: Outdoor movie screening, Zip line, Open-climbing wall, High-ropes adventure course and Camping.
It’s located in Kajiado, 35 Km South of Nairobi, off Magadi Road.
Check out their costs & packages Here
P.S. I haven’t been to PEC Nature Camp as yet, so hopefully they’ll live up to expectations…

13. Put a smile on someone’s face…
No matter how small, we can each make a difference…. Let’s give of our time, smiles and resources to the less fortunate in children’s homes, prison or even the sick in hospital…
Remember: A smile goes a long way…and it costs you nothing. 🙂

14. Random Road-trip
Buy a bus ticket or fill up your car with gas, and head out to a place you’ve never been to! Try to experience it through the eyes of the locals… Eat something new, sleep in a B&B, and talk to strangers…
Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures~ Lovelle Drachman
15. Reflect on the True Meaning Of Easter
Last, but certainly not least! Make time to reflect on what Easter means to you, and the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in your life… 🙂
I sincerely wish you a Happy Easter, filled with joy, hope & love. 🙂
