Happy World Kindness Day & Week beautiful people! π Today, I would love for us to take a small breather from our Travel Posts, to Take Stock and check in with each other… π
And what better time to pause, than on World Kindness Week, right? So, how are you doing? Are you coping well with life…?
But First… What is World Kindness Day?
World Kindness Day, is marked annually, on 13th November as a day when the world celebrates good deeds and promotes acts of kindness.
It was first launched in 1998, by the World Kindness Movement, at a Conference in Tokyo, Japan. And though it’s not officially recognized by all Nations, I believe that it has the potential to make a difference in our hurting world.

You might have noticed from the News, or even in social platforms that the prevalence of suicides, cyber bullying and depression is on the rise…
I can’t help but think, that we need more kindness; not just onΒ World Kindness Day, but every single day.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted ~ Aesop
What Can I Do? What Can We Do?
My aim still stands- to make this platform on Scrapbook Journeys a safe, inspiring space…
I understand that life can get really heavy sometimes, and we’re all dealing… Whatever you are going through, I want you to know- you are not alone. π
Honestly, I have my moments too. But having a core circle of people that you can reach out to, helps. Look around, is there someone who might need a hand?
It doesn’t have to be much… A kind word, or thoughtful act could mean the world to someone. π
Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give ~ Unknown

Deciding: To see the good in every situation! π
Drinking: Sweet peppermint tea whenever I travel! I’ve made peace with the fact that trying to get find good black tea is a lost cause.

Making: A gratitude list every morning and evening before bed… Still a work in progress.
Marveling: At how God works and also how a little kindness goes a long way. π
