Happy 2019 my dear friends! Welcome to our first post of the year! Yeehaw!! 😀

I am sincerely thrilled to embark on yet another year of journeys with you!

How are you faring this New Year? Are you feeling pumped-up about your resolutions…? Or are you taking it slow, with planning and reflecting?

My sincere hope is that this post will inspire energy to ‘Get Moving‘, with mindfulness, and a healthy dose of self-love!

But first…My utmost thanks and appreciation to you, for sticking with Scrapbook Journeys thus far! Thank you for the immense support, all through 2018!

And if you’ve just stumbled upon this page, welcome to my Scrapbook Journeys’ Family. YOU ROCK!! 😀

Today’s post is short, thoughtful, with a couple of resources to help us along, as we plan and set our 2019 goals.

Reflections… Looking Back To Move Forward

Study the past if you would define the future~ Confucius

Take a moment, to consider: how do you feel about 2018, and its events… ( I’ll wait 😉 )

So, just before the past year wrapped up, my friend Christine posted a Collage of pictures on Instagram…

Honestly, recalling all the moments shared with our group of friends, through a year that had its fair share of challenges, came as a pleasant surprise!

That’s when I realized that the mind plays some trick on us… Such that, while our simple, happy memories take a backseat, we remember our struggles & mistake quite vividly.

And with a New Year and process of Goal-setting, it’s easy to linger on the things that went unaccomplished. Can you relate…?

Happy 2019… The Best Is Yet To Come!

Now consider: what if we changed our thinking and focus? I bet this would certainly be a Happy 2019, ay?

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow ~ Melody Beattie

Now, I know we’re all at different points, and I may not fully grasp what you’re facing in your personal circumstances…

I do hope, however, that you’ll find the strength and courage to show up for yourself, and with a sense of gratitude. 🙂
