Howdy my SJ FAM! Welcome back to our Taking Stock posts! ๐Ÿ˜€ How are you feeling about your 2019 so far…?

Whether you’re feeling pumped up or need a little boost, Iโ€™ve got something for you today…

5 Tips to Win the Rest of Your 2019!

As the year grows โ€˜olderโ€™, itโ€™s easy to feel like the energy we had on New Year’s has dimmed. Can you relate? This can be especially scary if you’re ‘falling behind’ on your goalsโ€ฆ

Honestly speaking, I was in a bit of a funk some weeks back and I couldnโ€™t writeโ€ฆ Iโ€™d gotten so caught up in โ€˜goal-chasingโ€™, that I had stopped doing what really matters: self-work.

I then realized the need to stop, check-in and hit that reset button!

This is why I love our Taking Stock Posts, because itโ€™s our safe space where we can let that hair down and reflect, without any pressure, or judgementsโ€ฆ.

And though I don’t know what your story is, I do know this- you are not alone. ๐Ÿ™‚

Win Your Morning, Win Your Day! ย

What is your Morning Routine?

I can attest to this: how you begin, sets the tone for the rest of your day.

When you start out feeling purposeful, your day takes great shape, preparing you to deal with life’s curve balls.

Tip>> Check out this POST for more on setting a Morning Routine for champions. ๐Ÿ˜€

Feed Your Creative Soul

We spend a huge chunk of our lives doing ‘what we have to’. When it’s all said and done- are you truly happy?

And when you wake up or go to bed at night, is your heart dancing…?

Make time to learn something new simply for the joy of it. Whatever you choose, do it without any expectationsโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™‚

Exercise and Eat Well

This one can be a struggle, even for the best of us! But the truth is,ย  eating right and exercise translates into our overall well-being.

So, find what works for you, start out small, & work your way up… Consistency is king. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Keep a Journal

Journaling is like self therapy… I love keeping a journal because I feel more in tune with myself.

Journaling has a cathartic effect, that allows us to tap into our subconscious.

And who knows, you might even stumble upon solutions to a problem you’ve been trying to solve in your business or personal life. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Reassess Your Goals & Move The Goal Posts

Think about it… You could easily be working hard to attain a goal that’s no longer a priority.

Take time to reassess: are your goals still important to you? And what have you learned in the past 6 months… What can you do differently?

The answers to these questions might place you in a better space to win in 2019.

Bonus: Find the Humor in everyday life!

My brother is one the most optimistic people I know… He is solution-oriented and you’ll hardly ever hear him complain. ๐Ÿ™‚

I recently observed that he spends time before bed watching the show: Just For Laughs Gags. You’ll literally hear him laughing his heart out from the next room! ๐Ÿ˜€

I bet this small positive habit, somehow contributes to his optimistic outlook.

Consider what cracks you up…? Find ways to add some laughter and joy to your life. ๐Ÿ™‚
