Valentine’s Day Guide For Singles

Hello happy people! Are you single this Valentine’s Day? Smile my friend, because this Valentine’s Day Guide For Singles is especially for you… 😉

And for all my coupled-up friends, you can smile too because I have a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide and Romantic Dates’ Ideas post for you, here!

See? Everybody wins on Scrapbook Journeys! 😀

A Sweet Valentine’s Day Guide For Singles!

Being Single on Valentine’s Day has long been associated with loneliness and other negative connotations… But, we beg to differ. 😀

That said, I will not try and convince anyone that being single is like an open jar of golden honey… Because whether in a relationship, or single, each has its own pros and cons.

Instead let’s just dive into into the all the fun stuff you can get up to on our Valentine’s Day Guide For Singles!

Self Care Is King & Queen!

An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly. ~Anonymous.

Pamper Yourself With A Spa Day!

When was the last time you treated yourself to a blissful spa day? I honestly think a massage, is one of the best gifts anyone can give to oneself.

Check out the Spa Dreaming website, and pick out a tailored experience that suits both your wallet and your needs. You can also make a fun singles’ spa day out of it, with your close friends. 🙂

They currently have offers starting from Kes.4,000 at some of Nairobi’s best spas.

Stay Home & Revel In The Comforts Of Your Safe Haven!

When I am not traveling, I am a bit of a homebody, so this is certainly one of my favourite things to do! Why go anywhere, when you can stay home, dress comfortably and eat whatever you like? 😀

Make it a little more special, and put on your favourite music, light up some scented candles and order in or prepare your favourite meal. 🙂

Have a Slumber Party With Your Closest friends!

You are never too old to have a slumber party! No one is. 🙂

Invite your friends over and queue up your best shows on Netflix, do karaoke, play games… with an abundance of comfort food.

The guys might want to fire up the grill and watch a game… whatever floats your boat, just do it! 😉

And if you haven’t worked on your Vision Boards, this could be an opportune time to have a vision board party…

Start Your Journey to Getting in The Best Shape of your life!

Have you been thinking about working out, but can’t seem to get started? Well there’s no time like the present, ay? 😀

Just take that first step! Perhaps it means signing up for a gym membership close your home or workplace. Or maybe buying a new pair running/ gym shoes will do the trick!

I recently got this pair of Canyon Majolica Blue trainers from Tropic Feel, and you bet they’ll be a constant in my travel bag!

I love that they are suitable for hiking or even walking on the beach!

The idea is that, the pinch of spending money towards your fitness plan will motivate you to get moving!

Ready to mingle…? Attend singles’ events in your area!

Perhaps you are ready to go out and make some new authentic connections… Good, because being Single on Valentine’s Day shouldn’t stop you one bit!

Look up Singles’ events happening in your area. I did a simple online search for Valentine’s Day Singles events happening in Nairobi and these came up…

‘Twas The Night Before Valentine’s

Hosted by the Social House Nairobi, ‘Twas The Night Before Valentine’s is an exciting play happening on the 12th of February. It makes for a fun night out with your group of friends, to enjoy a local production over good food and wine.
