Hello beautiful people! 😀 Today we are winding down with a July Taking Stock post and a friendly chat!
Go on… grab yourself a hot mug of something sweet and let’s indulge, shall we?
In the past, our Taking Stock posts have been an opportunity for us to occasionally take a breather from Travel, as we check in and share Life Lessons…
I’ve definitely enjoyed creating these Lifestyle posts for you! At the same time, I am keen on meeting your needs when you show up to read….
So, I invite YOU to be a part of the process! This is your chance to get in the driver’s seat, here on Scrapbook Journeys! 😀
I’d love to hear from you: What Lifestyle topics would you like to see covered? Are there questions you’d like to see answered?
And what kind of Lifestyle posts do you enjoy the most? How often would you like to see Lifestyle posts on the blog?
Tip: Check out all our existing Lifestyle posts via the tabs at the top of the page.
I welcome you to share your suggestions and feedback on the comments’ section below, or using the ‘Contacts Us Page’.

Taking Stock July 2020!
Buying: A portable white board, inspired by my friend Muthoni.
Plus my wall can’t take any more sticky notes and white papers… 😀
Craving: A road trip- Always!! 😀
Drinking: Kericho Gold’s Apple & Cinnamon Specialty Infusion Tea, while thinking about what a good Brand Ambassador I would make for them!
@Kericho Gold let’s make this happen already, shall we? 😀
Eating: More fruits thanks to my brother, who is a sweetheart BTW! 😀
Enjoying: The little joys of daily Yoga for the past 52 days and counting!
Feeling: Hopeful about the future. The way I see it, we can either choose to be hopeful or feel despair… And while it’s not easy, let’s choose hope. 🙂
Learning: To listen to that still, small voice within, and to honor my preferences.
Listening: To poems by poets from around the world, old and new. Check out the Poetry Foundation if poems are your thing! 😉
Making: Small and deliberate steps towards achieving my goals and speaking life into them!
Cheers to staying focused on what’s within our spheres of control… ay?
Missing: My niece and nephew to bits!
Oh, and bear hugs! 😀
Noticing: How listening to the Bible on YouVersion is such an enriching experience, especially before bed.
Have you seen their daily devotions? YouVersion Bible App started sharing the ‘Stories’ a while ago. You can find them on the Home Page, under ‘For You’.
You won’t regret checking it out!
Playing: With coloring books and allowing myself to experience creativity at its rawest and purest form, like kids do. 🙂
Reading: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield.
Yes, I am still on this book, and if you haven’t read it please do!
My friend put me onto YouTube Book Summaries by the Productivity Game!
It’s a great way to get the gist of a book before deciding whether you want to commit to reading it.
Thinking: About the situation going on around the world, and how we are at the brink of a revolution against Racism and police brutality.
We keep hope alive.
Wanting: To spread more joy, love and light!
Watching: The Amazing Race Season 31. It’s legendary!!
I do wish they had shown a more wholesome picture of Uganda, like they did with the other countries.
There’s definitely more to Uganda + our African continent, and it’s time the world took note!
Wishing: I could take off to explore a new destination right about now! 🙂
Working: On being intentional and purposeful with the content you find here.
Thank you for reading my friends! I hope you enjoyed today’s Taking Stock post! 😀
